Father

Father, thank you
for giving me new life and
a hope that is beyond
imagination, thank
you for knowing the
deep, the dark,
but letting your light
shine inside, touching
giving me a warm glow
inside, thank you Lord
for walking the path of
life with me through
the rough and the smooth
you've always held me tight,
thank you Lord
that when the sun sets,
night will come,
leaving memories imprinted
in times past,
when the sun rises,
a new day begins,
new blessings, hopes
to be fulfilled.
